  1. The Definition of Announcement  

      An announcement is a public statement which gives information about something that has happened or that will happen. An announcement can also say as something that someone says officially, giving information about something.

  2. Characteristic of Announcement

      Use simple present tense or simple future tense often enticement.

      a. Simple Present Tense

• Subject (I, You, We, They) + infinitive

          Examples:

         We go to library.

• Subject (He, She, It) + infinitive + -s/-es

         Examples:

          She buys a kilo of sugar.

      b. Simple Future tense

• Subject + shall/will + be + ….

          Examples:

          I shall go to Surabaya tomorrow.

      

      Notes: For simple future tense will is used for subject (He, She, It).

      Meanwhile, shall is used for subject (I, We).
